Following
his degree in Economics and Business Administration at the University
of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg, Horst Neller gained exclusive
functional and leadership experience in the army, ultimately as
Squadron Leader Supply Chain and Logistics in a flying wing of the
Airforce.

After
completing the two year general staff officer training course at the
General Staff Academy of the Armed Forces he continued to focus on
Management issues in large international organizations in particular
intercultural management challenges.
x
In
1992 he went into industry in a management role of an Intralogistic
Technology Center. The company was a provider of consulting services
and support to clients in industry, trade and services in the area of
structure and process optimization up to and including
implementation.

Since
1994 Horst Neller has been in Executive Search Consulting, initially
with Kienbaum where he founded the practice “Telecommunication, IT
and New Media”. In his ensuing move to Heidrick and Struggles as
Partner in the German organization he specialized in three main
segments

These
remain his consulting focus to the present day.

Leaders
in these segments deal with complex products and services on a daily
basis and as such are in possession of universal core competencies
which are transferable, allowing candidates to move more freely
across the industries and providing hiring companies with
heterogeneous complementary knowledge and experience. This represents
genuine added value for all parties.

In
2003 Horst Neller joined Signium International as Managing Partner.
Since then he has developed his network and client base
substantially. His clients include international listed companies as
well as SME’s for which he provides consulting services at top
management levels – both in search and selection and management
audit assignments.
